E.J. Gold started creating fine art fashions in the 1960s when he outfitted Sonny & Cher, Jim Morrison, Jerry Garcia, Frank Zappa, Keith Moon, Ken Kesey, Skye Saxon, Harry Nilsson and Cass Elliott out of his shop in LA's Psychedelic Supermarket. Today, a listed American JazzArt^tm and Modernist artist, Gold is painting original tattoos on clothing, in addition to painting backdrops for jazz and other performances, creating jewelry and designing video games.
